Hey thingers,
We want to hear from YOU for a couple upcoming episodes!
First, ASK NO SUCH THING ANYTHING: We’re doing an AMA to break down some behind-the-scenes on how we make the show. What questions do you want to know about MND?
And second: we’re taking on GENTLE PARENTING: What does it mean to you? Do you think it works? Let us know what you think.
Leave us a voicemail at (860) 325-0286 or respond to this email with a voice memo.
On today’s episode, we’re diving into texting etiquette. How long should someone take before they text back? Is it ever OK to ghost someone? Are bad texters actually just bad friends?

Our guest this week is Julie Beck from The Atlantic. Check out her article: Forgive the Bad Texters.

I’m a terrible texter. Purposefully. In fact, one of the text groups I’m in my friends titled “Because Shay doesn’t respond to texts” lol
Two reasons! 1) I have ADHD and am self employed, and I’m a craftsperson so I’m constantly working with my hands. If I’m texting I’m not working. so I basically lock in during the day and reply to my texts on my walk home from the studio. 2) Isn’t anyone else completely exhausted from all the avenues of communication that are available. Emails, texts, WhatsApp, DMs. I’m a small business owner and have a hearty friend group. I’m inundated from every direction. My cortisol is max. So ABSOLUTELY I will admit I’m a bad texter, but not a bad friend. All my friends know if they call me I’ll pick up first ring ;)
