As a high school teacher, I can report that when kids are honest they wish that hallways were like what they see in β€˜90s movies: people interacting. Some kids just doom scroll all day. It’s bad for them. Ban the phones.

Banning phones is an L take particularly when framed around having in person interactions. It’s idealistic assuming those interactions will be positive and not just as destructive.
